xxxHOLiC Vol. 10 manga review
Fans of xxxHOLiC might open this volume and think they're getting another one of the so-so story arcs where Watanuki runs off doing chores and learns new factoids about the spirit world along the way. What a pleasant surprise, then, to see that he eventually learns much more, not about the spirit world, but about the very people who love and care for him. Himawari, who had been near-useless for so long (even to the point of being the least favorite character for some) finally gets her chance in the spotlight, proving that every person in Watanuki's life has a purpose after all. This is one of the most touching and dramatic volumes in the series, taking its characters to a new level of depth that few would have ever expected.

Keima Katsuragi, a second-year high school student, is an avid dating sim gamer. He is known on the Internet as "The Capturing God" for his legendary skills to be able to "capture" any 2D girl in games. However, in his actual school life, Keima is known as otamegane, a derogatory portmanteau of the two words otaku (オタク) and megane (メガネ-"glasses").
At the start of the series, Keima receives an e-mail offering him a contract to "capture" girls. He accepts what is thought to be a challenge, and a demon from Hell nicknamed Elci appears. She asks for his cooperation to help her in catching the runaway spirits. These spirits hide themselves inside the girl's heart, and Elci suggests that the only method to force the spirits out is by "capturing" their hearts—making them fall in love. Appalled by the idea, Keima refuses after clarifying to Elci that he is only interested in "capturing" 2D girls and that he detests reality. Nevertheless, with the contract already accepted, Keima would have to help Elci no matter what; if they fail, both Elci and Keima would lose their heads.

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai or also known as The World God Only Knows is a manga written by Tamiki Wakaki and now thanks to Manglobe the manga got an anime adaptation. We can't judge well by only watching one episode but from that episode I can think that next ones (if they follow the manga well) then the anime will be as great as the manga.
Story: Like many boys, Keima Katsuragi likes girls. But there's a catch, he doesn't like real girls, instead, he loves videogames girls or girls from dating sims. Keima is knows as the Capturing God because he can make any girl from those games fall on love with him. One day when he was cleaning he receives a challenge for capture (that's how Keima refers to make a girl fall in love with him) a girl and he gladly chooses it. When he accepted it a girl suddenly appear called Elsea de Lute Irma and tells him that he must capture girls of the real world for free them from evil spirits that are inisde her bodies or else his head will fall from his body. Keima now must help Elsea to capture those spirits by making the girls he hate so much fall in love for him for finish the contract he accidentally did. This is just the beginning of the trials the God and Elsea must do.
The story is great and I'm sure more people will like it as the anime continues.

Sound: I was dubious of the seiyuus Manglobe hired for voice Keima and Elsea but after hearing them I'm quite sure they were right; those guys are fit for those roles. The other characters were also great and I hope the next characters that appear also have good seiyuus. Can't say alot of the music at the moment, need to hear more for judge that area.
Art: Superb. Manglobe did a great job at drawing the characters and the places. The colors are used well in this anime. Like the sound area, I still need to see more for make a final verdict in this are.

Character: Keima Katsuragi is the protagonist of this series. He is a cold guy that is super intelligent and just loves to play videogames on his PFP, even in the middle of the class. Let's put it this way: Keima is like Light or Lelouch but instead of being the god of the world or doing a rebellion for overthrow someone he is making girls fall in love with him just by analyzing them. Our other protagonist is Elsee, the demon that Keima must aid. Elsee worships Keima and always calls him Kami-Sama. She is a good girl with good intentioned feelings and that loves f...tr...s for some strange reason.
Enjoyment: I had a great time with the first episode. I was quite curios before as to how Manglobe would adapt the first episode but they did a good job by explaining what Keima must do and did a terrific job at his first capture. If I enjoyed so much the manga I don't doubt I will enjoy the anime adaption too.
Overall: The World God Only Knows has alot of potential, even if it doesn't follow the manga closely. I have high hopes on this adaptation. The best thing of this one is that it can be watched by anyone, you will have a lot of fun watching it.

The commencement of forward motion comes at a cost, however. This is by far the least magical of Aria's installments, and not just because Cait Sith has gone MIA. The Origination lacks The Animation's freshness as well as The Natural's sprawl, the space in which to steep us in the laid-back atmosphere of Neo-Venezia. Its future focus foreshortens Akari's wide-eyed explorations of the here and now, and its final episodes, and the changes they effect, are more bittersweet coming of age drama than celebrations of everyday wonder. The conflicting emotions this season ultimately evokes are, as ever, subtle and sneaky in their power, but they also leave an entirely different impression than seasons past. Aria's customary warm glow is still there, but it's an older, wiser and sadder warmth.
